India will need its bowlers to perform to the best of their abilities if they are to win the Asia Cup after a long hiatus of 13 years. Sri Lanka have a blistering combination in the form of Sanath Jayasuriya and Kumar Sangakkara and it will be crucial to get them early on in the innings.
PCB to offer free tickets to pull crowd for Asia Cup finale
With Pakistan`s ouster making the Asia Cup final of little importance to local fans, the PCB and the provincial government will give away 10,000 free tickets to students and cricket clubs in a desperate bid to pull crowds for the summit clash between India and Sri Lanka.
Bowlers have been struggling on these wickets. They have struggled across the board on these pitches as both fast bowlers and spinners have taken a stick. So batsmen will have to win it for us. - Gary Kirsten
